This painting is about purging old belief systems and patterns of behaviour that we all learn from birth. Once we are able to see the world from other peoples perspectives, with open mins we have a chance to grow.
I really enjoyed playing with the different mediums and techniques on this, I love the effect that using palette knives creates and I also really enjoy scraping layers of one paint away to reveal the layers beneath.
