Mark Brightman

London based creative and painter Mark Brightman, has spent the past 20 years touring internationally with global music artists as a production designer and tour manager. His career boasts the likes of Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, Boyzone, Iggy Azalea, Jack Garratt, Anne-Marie and Louis Tomlinson.

Inspired by contemporary artists such as Ian Rayer-Smith, Tracy Emin, Jake- Andrew Nason, Jake Wood-Evans, Mark’s paintings are edgy and adventurous, featuring bold splashes of bright colours and different textural themes.  In his paintings, Mark uses house-hold mops and plastering tools along with the more traditional paintbrushes and spray cans to experiment with texture, delivery and finish.

At the beginning of March 2020, Mark was three shows into a  4-month world tour with Louis Tomlinson and at that time would never have believed that 16 months later he would be invited to exhibit his paintings in London with up and coming artist Jake Andrew-Nason. With the tour cancelled and the whole world locked-down, Mark returned to London and his painting.
